You'll enjoy many of the activities held at our three spacious clubhouses, located throughout Palm Lake Co-op. Take a refreshing swim - summer or winter - in one of three, large heated swimming pools or sunbathe under the warm, Florida sun. Enjoy a luxurious and leisurely dip in one of our relaxing and soothing whirlpool spas.

Join one of the many social clubs for organized dances, potluck dinners, breakfasts, special dinners, arts and crafts, card games, singing and dancing groups. Stay fit at one of our exercise or water aerobics classes. Join one of the leagues in our active adult retirement community - men and women's golf, bowling, shuffleboard, horse shoes or bingo, just to name a few. Our active adult retirement community ensures you have endless options.

For the fishermen in our active adult retirement community, we have a special treat - our very own well-stocked, fresh water lake. Just think, you can walk to your favorite fishing hole and cast your line whenever the urge strikes, spending your leisure time doing what you love most - fishing!

Local Area Activities

There's no end to what the area of South Florida offers. Our active adult retirement community is close to just about anything you could desire.

If sports are your pleasure, you won't have to drive far from our active adult retirement community to find deep-sea fishing, and South Florida has three professional sport teams for your enjoyment - the Miami Dolphins, Florida Marlins, and Miami Heat. There are several challenging golf courses within minutes from Palm Lake Co-op, your active adult retirement community, and a couple of PGA tournaments annually. Whether spectator or participant, you'll find the right course or event for you.

South Florida is known for its beautiful and scenic beaches, and there are several locations near our active adult retirement community, as well as many quiet inland lakes.

The active adult retirement community area also offers many exciting cultural events - indoors and out, world-class shopping (such as Bloomingdales, Saks Fifth Avenue, Nordstroms, and Macys), dining (from the casual to upscale), and entertainment events with Interstate 95 and the Turnpike giving you quick and easy access. There isn't another area in the U.S. that boasts the myriad of activities and entertainment that you'll enjoy in South Florida.
